The Tactic all-mountain helmet has been redesigned for 2013 with more aggressive styling, Specialized’s 4th Dimension Cooling system and an integrated visor. For a secure fit, the Tactic utilizes Specialized’s Headset SL fit system. The system features four height positions and a rear micro adjust dial. A key element to the Headset SL fit system is the Tri-Fix strap system. The Tri-Fix uses a fixed ear-loop strap that simplifies both adjustment and increases clearance around the ears. Compared to the old-style double strap and loop system, the single strap design reduces weight and fits better under the rider’s chin. 

As with any helmet, safety is the priority and the Tactic provides plenty with in-molded shell construction for increased strength and maximum shock absorption. The Tactic also provides increased protection with an expanded rear section for added skull coverage around the back of the head.
